Doolin
Ireland's little gem
Doolin is definitely one of Ireland’s best loved villages. Its ideal location, breathtaking views, rich history, abundance of traditional music and friendly locals make it the perfect destination for people to enjoy the best of Ireland’s treasures.
There is something for everyone to enjoy all year round and at Daly’s House B&B we will be happy to share our tips with you on how to make the most of your stay in Doolin.
The Perfect Location
Doolin is nestled on the northern coast of County Clare on the Wild Atlantic Way, between the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren National Park and the Aran Islands.
There is so much to do and discover around Doolin that we recommend to stay for at least 2 nights. In fact, the most common comment we hear from people leaving Doolin is that they wish they would have stayed longer.
Timeless Beauty
Sunset at the Cliffs of Moher, Rainbows over the Burren, admiring Doonagore Castle, Walking around Doolin Pier, Exploring the Aran Islands… While staying at Daly’s House B&B you will be able to witness some of the most beautiful landscapes of Ireland. And they are all only a few minutes away!
The Home of Irish Music
Doolin is considered by many to be the Traditional Music Capital of Ireland. Music has played a huge part in the village’s history and traditional sessions take place nightly in the different pubs of the village : Gus O’Connor’s Pub, McGann’s, McDermott’s and Fitzpatrick’s.
Make sure to also check out Doolin Music House for an intimate experience at one of Doolin’s legendary musician’s home.
A Historical Place
Archeological sites, castles, churches, legends and traditions… Doolin is literally the perfect gateway into one of Ireland’s most historical location : the Burren.
Discover Poulnabrone Dolmen, Kilfenora’s High Crosses & Cathedral, Corcomroe Abbey, Caherconnell Stonefort and many other sites all within a short drive from Daly’s House B&B.
Meet The Locals
But Doolin’s most amazing attraction remains its people. The welcome you get at Daly’s House B&B and in the village in general is what will make your stay a truly unforgettable experience.
We love meeting new people, interacting with them over a cup of tea (or Bailey’s coffee, or a pint of Guinness!) and simply making new friends.
